Maxim Energy gel contains pure glucose. This is a carbohydrate that your body metabolises into energy instantly. It is absorbed into the bloodstream immediately after consumption as it does not have to be digested first. During long intensive exercise, or when not having eaten for a while, your bloodsugar drops beneath normal value. Result: energy fade, concentration problems and therefore worse performance.

This, especially, is a problem that arises in endurance sports such as triathlon, cycling, running, rowing etc. On exactly these moments, Maxim Energy gel is the ideal energy booster. Maintain your blood sugar up to the mark and save your glycogen stores.

How to use

Depending on the intensity and duration of the exercise, start consuming Energy Gel 30-60 minutes after having started exercising.

During high intensive exercise start consuming Energy Gel 30 minutes after having started exercising. Consume 1/3 of the content of the (3 servings) gel packaging, immediately followed by a few swallows of Energy Drink or water. Repeat this every 20-30 minutes. Consume a maximum of 1 gel packaging per hour.

(If you prefer using one portion sachets, use after 30 minutes every 15-20 minutes a sachet).

During medium intensive exercise start consuming Energy Gel 45-60 minutes after having started exercising. Consume 1/3 of the content of the (3 serving) gel packaging, immediately followed by a few swallows of Energy Drink or water. Repeat this every 30 minutes.

(If you prefer using “one portion” sachets, use after 45-60 minutes, every 20 minutes a sachet).

Also ideal to be used during breaks* in soccer, field hockey, basketball matches.

*Consume during breaks in matches ½ of the content of a (3 serving) gel packaging or 2 “one portion” sachets followed by a sufficient amount of fluid (Energy Drink or water).
