MAXIM CARBO CAKE

chocc.jpg  orgcc.jpg Maxim Carbo Cake is a delicious sports cake, rich in carbohydrates. Carbohydrates are the most important energy source used by the human body during exercise. Research has shown that a limited supply of carbohydrates in the muscles (glycogen) is one of the most limiting factors regarding performance. It is very important to consume enough carbohydrates, a couple of hours before exercise as well as in your daily diet as an athlete.

Maxim Carbo Cake is ideal to optimize the glycogen stores in the muscles before exercise. One portion will give you approximately 100 g high quality carbohydrates. One portion is 1/3 of a prepared Carbo Cake and equals almost 7 slices of bread!!! It will supply you with maximum energy and many nutritional ingredients necessary for physical strain. It will give your muscles an extra energy impulse for a maximum performance. Especially suited as a carbo loader before competition.

Ingredients: Sugar, flour (wheat), vegetable fat powder, egg powder, orange chips(or chocolate), modified potato starch, flour (soy), raising agent (sodium carbonate, sodium diphosphate), flavouring, salt, thickener (xanthan gum), food acid (citric acid), vitamin B1.
Usage:

Before Exercise (training):
Prepare the Carbo Cake one day before exercise (see preparation). Consume 1/3 of the cake up to 2 or 3 hours before exercise.

Before a competition/tournament:
Prepare the Carbo Cake one day before exercise, preferably in the morning.
Slice the cake after it has cooled. Use the Carbo Cake as an addition to your regular meals, so consume the cake between lunch and diner (1/3 cake) and after diner (1/3 cake) the day before competition. Consume on the competition day 1/3 of the cake up to 2 to 3 hours before exercise. This will ensure a maximum energy store at the beginning of your competition.

Note:
Is your competition very early in the morning and are you not used to eating at that time?
Start consuming one portion of the Carbo Cake the day before between breakfast and lunch, consume the second portion between lunch and diner and eat the third and last portion after diner. This means you have to prepare the Carbo Cake early in the morning or the evening before.

Daily use:
The delicious cake is also a good product to increase your daily carbohydrate intake.
As a health snack consume 1/6 of the cake between meals.
1/6 Carbo Cake will provide you about 50g of carbohydrates, this equals 3 slices of bread!!

Cooking Instructions:
Put the content (powder) of the packaging in a bowl.
Add 225-250 ml water to the powder.
Mix the powder and the water with a fork or spoon until it makes a nice smooth mixture.
Pour the dough in a greased mould of 20 cm diameter and let the mixture (dough) rest for 10 minutes.
In the mean time preheat the oven at 160° C.
After 10 minutes place plate of the oven in the middle of the oven.
Bake the cake in 40-50 minutes at 160° C.
After 40-50 minutes take out the mould with the warm cake and let it cool.
After cooling slice the cake in 3 or 6 equal parts.
